Thibodaux, Louisiana- May 21, 2012 - Thibodaux Regional Health System
is pleased to announce thatChrisy J. Myhand, RN, was named Clinical Director of the Emergency Department.
Myhand graduated from The Washington Hospital School of Nursing, Washington,
Pennsylvania. She began her nursing career at a Level I Trauma Center
in West Virginia, with concentration in Surgical/Trauma Intensive Care
and Emergency Care. Myhand relocated to Thibodaux and began working in
the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Thibodaux Regional in 2006. Prior to
her appointment as Emergency Room Director, she served as ICU Unit Coordinator.
Myhand is a member of the Emergency Nurses Association and is certified
in Trauma and Advanced Trauma Nursing.
As Emergency Department Clinical Director, Myhand is responsible for providing
leadership and management for the emergency department staff while working
cooperatively and supportively with members of the medical and ancillary
staff to provide quality emergency services for patients.
