Thibodaux, Louisiana - May 30, 2012 - Ann J. Parker, BS, CRT, Director
of Cardiopulmonary Services of Thibodaux Regional Health System, was
recently awarded the 2012 Pioneer Award by the Louisiana Society for Respiratory
Care at its annual education meeting in Baton Rouge.
Parker has been an active member of the American Association for Respiratory
Care for over 30 years. She served on the LSRC board of directors and
the Advisory Committee for Respiratory Care Licensure for the Louisiana
State Board of Medical Examiners for many years.
The Pioneer Award recognizes members of the American Association for Respiratory
Care, who have dedicated a major portion of his or her life by demonstrating
significant contributions toward the development and advancement of the
Respiratory Care Profession.
