Thibodaux Regional Health System is pleased to announce the addition of
Dr. Bryon McKenna, Podiatrist/Foot and Ankle Surgeon, to the active medical staff. Dr. McKenna is available to care for patients
at Thibodaux Regional Podiatry Clinic located 726 North Acadia Road, Suite
1700, Thibodaux, (985) 493-4990.
Dr. McKenna received his doctorate of podiatric medicine degree from Western
University of Health Sciences in Pomona, California. He completed his
Residency at Mount Auburn Hospital and Harvard Medical School in Cambridge,
Massachusetts. Additionally, Dr. McKenna completed one of the most prestigious
foot and ankle surgery fellowships in the United States at the Orthopedic
Foot and Ankle Center in Columbus, Ohio. He is one of only a few podiatry-trained
surgeons in the world to complete this fellowship.
Dr. McKenna specializes in all foot and ankle conditions, from sports injuries
and general foot pain to complex reconstructive and limb salvage surgery.
He is a member of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgery.
Originally from a small town in Idaho, Dr. McKenna grew up working on the
family ranch when he was young. He and his wife look forward to raising
their family in Thibodaux, a tight knit community with small-town values.
Dr. McKenna is an avid fisherman and outdoorsman, naturally being drawn
to Southern Louisiana. He is excited to join Thibodaux Regional where
he was impressed with the state-of-the-art facilities, and the strong
working relationships within the health system. Dr. McKenna is eager for
the opportunity to care for and help individuals with all types of foot
and ankle conditions.
